M3F Festival 2025

This year I headed West to escape some of Ohio’s winter - and see one of the best lineups I've seen in a 2 festival!  M3F Fest had an list of artists and I’ll include everyone I saw below.  I won’t review each one, but the video is a collection of my favorite 15 seconds (or so) from each performance of the weekend.  Seeing Phoenix was great too!  Definitely want to go back:

BoomBox (2/12/25)

Another BoomBox show show at the Beachland Ballroom, another great reason to dance.  Met some really fun people that night...

Of course it’s always a delight to see Joey Sardelle warm up a crowd.

I was thrilled to also see that Amtrac would be performing at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles during my stay in Los Angeles.  I’ve been to this venue before, which is a great space to dance.

This had to be one of the best Festival lineups I’d ever seen.  I’m so thankful to have good friends living in SF to host a trip like this!

Funk N Flow 2022

Finally, my first weekend event at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park!  I’ve been going during the week to swim for years, but to finally see the full campground and music festival experience was a whole ‘nother level.   Had some great homies from Nelsonville Music Festival up joining us.  Swimming in the quarry during the day is what really made this event.  Can’t wait for another one!

Moon Boots just makes you wanna dance with their new video for Come To Me. Caribou released this dog-tastic video for You Can Do it!  Charli XCX turns the sexiness up to 10 with her video for Good Ones.

Breakaway Music Festival 2021

This is generally not my type of festival, but I couldn’t have been more excited to see that Channel Tres had a headlining DJ set!  There’s quite a story around my actual getting to the festival (via bicycle), but that’ll remain an offline story if you ever want to ask.  Otherwise, it was a gorgeous day to have a festival and it was just fun to be outside with people. At least for the first day.  (The second day rained and we ended up bailing and hanging out with drag queens in the Short North!) 

I’ve also captured 2 videos, the first being a collections of clips from the festival, but I created a separate video just for the Channel Tres clips.  I had also found out that day that he was having an after party at The Forum in downtown Columbus that night (!) so I included a clip from that as well. I can’t wait to catch him again!
