Claud (9/22/23)

Claud has put out a couple of fun bedroom pop albums, and I was happy to stop out to Mahalls to catch them live.

MAN ON MAN (9/21/23)

It’s great to get back to a straight up rock show, and even better when it’s an out and proud gay bear couple.  MAN ON MAN at the Beachland Tavern was so much fun, I only wish more folks could have come out on this Thursday night!

Opening was Factual Brains.

Brandi Carlile (9/16/23)

Brandi Carlile has to be the busiest artist in the business, between supporting many female artists that came before her (Joni Mitchell, Tanya Tucker, etc.), opening for major pop artists (P!nk), all while leading her own headlining tour - at Blossom Music Center nonetheless!  Bonus was being able to go with family.

Black Swamp Arts Festival 2023

I got to swing by the Black Swamp Arts Festival both Friday & Saturday nights while home visiting family.  The first night I was excited to catch the renown Ruthie Foster perform!

Then on Saturday night I was thrilled to finally get to see Amythyst Kiah live!

Mikaela Davis (8/22/23)

It’d been almost been 10 years since I’ve seen Mikaela Davis in concert, which was in the Beachland Tavern back then too.  I was a little surprised to see her as headlining a Grateful Dead themed/inspired night, but she and her harp continue to work their magic.  It made for a great way to spend my birthday.

Field Guide / Oliver Hazard Day (8/12/23)

I was able to make it over to Oliver Hazard Day in Waterville, OH - but wasn’t able to stay long enough to see Oliver Hazard.  However, Field Guide was a lovely discovery who I’m really enjoying!
